As you may know now the Cal. Rules of
Court provide for an exhaustive case management scheme which, for the
most part, have pre-emptive rules of court. Exceptive from this
requirement are ex parte rules and trial rules.

annual meeting from September 27 to 29, 2007. The locations will be at

2007, all Civil Law
and Motion matters scheduled in Department 11 at the Historic Courthouse
in Riverside Central will be heard at 8:00 a.m. as opposed to 8:30 a.m.
Parties will be notified by mail regarding this change. To ensure all
cases are heard by 9:30 a.m., the scheduling of Law and Motion matters
will be limited to a maximum of 12 hearings per day in Department 11
only. |

Effective August 1, 2007, Riverside
Central guardianship cases will no longer be heard in the Probate
Division. Instead, they will be heard in the Riverside Family Law
Division. All guardianship hearings will be set at 8:30 a.m. in
Department F3 in the Family Law courthouse at 4175 Main Street,
Riverside 92501. |

Starting July 23, 2007, on a OSC re
service hearing in Victorville and San Bernadino Central will require as
much information as possible concerning the efforts made and the
likelihood of success. |

Effective July 1st, 2007, Rule 3.740 was
added to the California Rules of Court. Among other things, it provides
that collection cases are on a separate track.
